The Wind Energy Institute of Canada’s Climate Meteorological Station was developed in partnership with UPEI Climate Lab and has the following co-located instrumentation installed to allow for measurement inter-comparisons:
- Hobo Onset RX3000 logger and sensors sponsored by UPEI
- Davis Instruments Vantage Vue sponsored by UPEI
- Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 sponsored by Parks Canada
- CoCoRaHS manual rain gauge sponsored by Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI
Data from these instruments for the WEICan site and for similar weather stations located across PEI are available through the following sources:
