Allan Harris is a 4th year Computer Science student at UPEI who’s worked 3 terms at WEICan.

During his three summer work terms, Allan contributed to a variety of impactful projects. In his first term, he helped maintain and enhance the company website using WordPress, developed a program to graph turbine power curves from historical data for performance tracking, and built a web scraper to collect data on provincial energy inputs and outputs, along with supporting other technical tasks.

In his second term, Allan focused on implementing a forecasting tool designed to predict the solar energy output of residential homes, supporting efforts in grid integration and renewable energy planning.

In his third and final term he worked on developing a new web application for creating and handling service reports.
