Nomination Process for Candidate

Candidate writes Letter of Nomination to department head
Department head endorses Nomination and forwards it to WEICan Director of Technology

Letter of Nomination should include

Candidate's CV
Plan of engagement
Reasons for interest in VPP program
Current area of academic endeavor
Current collaborations with Canadian and other academic institutions

The nomination will be reviewed by Director of Technology who will then make a recommendation to the CEO. Applications for less than one month will be approved by the CEO. Applications for up to one semester (four months) must be approved by the Executive of the Board of Directors for WEICan and applications for longer than one semester will require the approval of the Board of Directors. Upon approval the Director of Technology will send an offer letter to the candidate stating the terms of the appointment and in turn will request a letter of acceptance from the candidate. Any questions about the VPAP program should be directed in the first instance to the Director of Technology.
