Hurricane Noel, now downgraded, passes over WEICan's test site at North Cape

On the night of Saturday 3 November through to the morning of Sunday 4 November, the remnants of Hurricane Noel passed over PEI.

The rapid change in wind speed and direction which took place as the event passed over North Cape would seem to indicate that the predictions of the National Hurricane Center in the US were accurate and that the former eye of the hurricane passed very close, if not over, North Cape.
