WEICan finalises detailed RFP documentation for small wind turbine manufacturers looking for assistance in testing leading to certification

On the 14th August WEICan announced that it had allocated $250,000 for the purposes of conducting Type Testing on small wind turbines with a view to subsequent certification [details » ].

At that time we noted that we were in the process of developing the detailed documentation. That material has now been finalised and is available on request to those companies that believe that they would qualify for financial assistance under this program.

Applications should be submitted no later than 31 October 2007. Decisions will be announced no later than 15 November 2007 and contracts will be awarded shortly thereafter.
